Questions:  Study the following information carefully and answer the questions given below:

  1. Six students viz. A , U , S , T , I & N were given a seminar in same week starting monday to saturday , one on each day, How many of them are given seminar before S ?
  • T is given seminar before 3 students . A   was Given seminar on Tuesday
  •   I is given seminar before atleast one of them . S was given seminar immediately after T
  • Atleast 4 persons were given seminar after U .
(a) If data in statement 1 & 2 are sufficient to answer the question
(b) If data in statement 3 & 2 are sufficient to answer the question
(c) If data in statement 1 & 3 are sufficient to answer the question

2.  Six members of a family B , U , K , E ,R & T were standing in a row , with all facing north direction whose sitting between  K and  R   ?
  • B is standing 2nd from left end . K   is standing 3rd to left of U who is near to R .
  • U is not the immediate neighbour of T who does not sit at any extreme end of row .
  • R is not the neighbour of B .
(a) If data in statement 1  alone or  data in statement 2  alone or data in statement 3  alone is sufficient to answer the question

3-7.  Eight persons A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H live in a 4-storey building where the bottommost floor is numbered as 1 and topmost floor numbered as 4. Each floor has two flats i.e., P and Q. Flat Q is in the east of flat P. All persons are from different places (UK, USA, Iran, India, Iraq, London, China and Japan)
Note: If a person lives in a flat adjacent to ‘X’ then both persons live on the same floor. If ‘X’ lives one/two/three floors above/below ‘Y’ then both persons live in same type of flat unless stated otherwise. And if one or two persons live between X and Y, then it means they both live in same type of flat unless stated otherwise.
Person from India doesn’t live in flat Q. Two persons live between G and E who is from Japan. E lives above G. Person from US lives just above the person from China but in different type of flat. F is from Iran and lives adjacent to the person from London. H lives just above D who is from UK and both of them lives in the same flat type as B. F lives just below B. G is not from London. F lives in flat Q.
